Äppelgården used to be one of many apple orchards here on the Bjäre peninsula (Bjärehalvön), but in the early 2000's, the orchard was turned into a golf club that rapidly grew from 9 to 18 holes.
In 2024, we decided to shut down the golf and start to plan for a Discgolf court instead. Together with the 4-time Swedish Champion, Henric Hagman, we built our two courses and opened them up on April 12th, 2025.
We are a Discgolf arena, built on a former golf club, but we also have a restaurant on location, 26 double rooms and 10 golf cars for rent. This makes us a bit unusual as a Discgolf arena.
After a fantastic 2025, we decided that we wanted more and have now built the worlds first complete frisbee sport arena with permanent places for the different sports plus Disc-IT, because we like it.
